agreement was signed between Government of La Rioja and the Municipality of Alfaro

On September 17 signed the cooperation agreement between the city of Alfaro and the Ministry of Culture for a total of € 85,978.
With this amount will fund drainage works and building started last year, the analytics needed for restoration work, the auxiliary means for the field work of archaeological excavation, documentation of archaeological materials, computerization of registration archaeological documentation of the excavation geometry and synthesis on early medieval settlement, for the area excavated between 2000 and 2007.
Of this amount the city of Alfaro contribute 20% while that the Government of La Rioja will bear the remaining 80%.

Top the excavations

As in previous years, the field work of archaeological excavation will start on October 1. The area of \u200b\u200bintervention will remain, as in previous years, the sector 16 located in the area known as the Prison Ages.
This year work will focus on the fillings in the late Roman period silt up the pool altoimperial building.
This field work is funded in two ways:
wages on the one hand, through an agreement between the Employment Service of La Rioja and the city of Alfaro, on the other hand, the aids through the annual agreement between the Ministry of Culture, Government of La Rioja and the city of Alfaro.
