On October 1 began the archaeological excavation of the site of the Eras de San Martín de Alfaro.
As in previous years, the two-month intervention, were held one open house where the crew of the excavations will provide a guided tour of the excavated area. During this visit will be announced the results of past interventions and the status of work in progress. These
visits will take place on Wednesdays from 11-12 am, on Wednesday 14th October until 25 November.
For those interested in visiting the excavation schedule weekend visits will be made on Saturday November 28 at 12 am and 4 pm.

The minor basilicas have two special attributes: the umbel basilica, also called flag or conopeo (umbrella) and tintinábulo.
The badges are worn on the processions with a particular protocol. Tintinábulo carrier follows the processional cross and behind it is the bearer of the umbel.
