Rose Hathaway has several problems. Her gorgeous tutor Dimitri is setting on another, her friend Mason has a crush on her, and the telepathic link she has with her best friend ... drives her crazy when she is with her boyfriend. Then a big attack Strigoi put on alert to the academy and decided to protect students in the elegant home of Idaho. But the impression is false security. This time, Rose, and his heart will be at greater danger than he imagined.

This time we find ourselves once again in the academy for vampires, but from the beginning we are in terrible and bloody circumstances. Moroi Dimitri and Rose discovered dead, and can only be one answer: the strigois are behind them and do not act alone. Most of the novel is set in a space for students to vacation and be safe.

But perhaps their lives are not the only thing at risk because this time are more characters, change the perspective of some we already knew and every time the story becomes more interesting with regard to relations between all and half-vampire vampire found in place. A Christian's handsome Dimitri and now are joined by a third male character, whom Adrian Ivashkov sure we will see more of the following books.

If the earlier book was entertaining, this is much more exciting. Not only with respect to the lives of these young people, but everything around them, the danger they are in and witness the action. In addition to progress in the romance from the first book stolen our hearts.

Once again I was surprised at the author's narrative agility. Not even imagine how I was going to run the thread of the story, but the truth is that it is a worthy second part of the first novel. There are many surprises and above all a slight change to what we had read in the first very promising for the following history.

Very surprising and enjoyable. Ultimately leaves you eager to read the following.
